Greg Hains Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Hi. I dont think Im alone when I find the mouse scroll wheel annoying to scroll through records rather than than up and down the page. I understand that there is a Mac workaround, but what about the PC? Im using FmPro 10 Advanced on Windows XP. Ive tried all sorts of thing. Cheers, Greg
BrentHedden Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 It depends on what browse view 'mode' you are in. Form View - scrolls between records List View - scrolls up and down the page Table View - scrolls up and down the page There is no way currently to change this behavior. One trick I've done in past times to to have a found count of 1, and switch to List view. Have the record navigation via forward/back buttons. This won't work in all situations, though.
IdealData Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 The 'focus' of the mouse pointer is also significant. In browse mode, with the status panel exposed, the scroll wheel is active when focused on the records clip book and scrolls through records. If the status panel is closed then no record scrolling occurs as the focus cannot be on the clip book.
Greg Hains Posted October 31, 2009 Author Posted October 31, 2009 BrentHedden and IdealData. Thankyou very much for this info. I will experiment with these views and see what I can sort out. Cheers, Greg
