Carriage return in text fields

Hi.

I have a problem i cant work out. Ive stopped Return and Enter moving to the next field, but when i use Enter in this text field it jumps 3 or 4 lines - even Shift Enter.

What is causing it to do this please?

Try checking the line format options for the text field you are typing in.

a/ From the "Format" menu select "Text"

b/ click the "Paragraph" button (bottom left of floating window)

c/ Check that "Line Spacing" below and/or above settings are "0". Chances are that below says "4.00"

Ah yes. Thankyou Mif. I did fiddle with that field but forgot.
