Values List and pictures, can they be incorporated?

Featured Replies

I use FMP 8 Advanced.

I want to incorporate text and a picture in a Values List. Is this possible and if so how to do it? Or is there an alternative solution?

I use this in a template that prints envelopes. Sometimes the company logo needs to go on the envelope and sometimes the name of a person that is in the Values List.

Thanks.

You can not incorporate an image into a value list specifically but there are options. At first glance, I would suggest using a portal as a "picker" to select a text/image combo. You could display a scrollable list of text/image pairs.

When I read further, I discovered some questions. Are the only options logo/no logo and name / no name or are there other choices for each letter?

When the names are included, do you also need a signature?

It is either a logo or a persons name.

normanicus, thanks, that could work, need to convert my text in to images however.

Question, where do you 'hide' the images? I do not seem to be able to find them.
