After 50 records found in iwp, can I see the rest?

Hi Sorry for not knowing where to post this because I couldn't find a forum on IWP.

I have a search page that finds records on a table-view based layout. In iwp, the maximum number of records is 50 as I understand it, but does this mean 50 at one time? Can I get to see the next 50 and the next 50 with some kind of script button?

My iwp solution does not allow users to see the status area, but can I program a script and put it on a button to show the next 50 record or is 50 the absolute maximum with iwp?

I would be really grateful for any help on this and I am not a professional programmer (although I have managed to write a fair number of scripts for my solution so far). Thanks again for any help.

With a table (or form) view IWP will only return records in batches of 50, so you really need the status panel to go to the next 50.

In some of my IWP stuff I've used portals, with filters (global fields), to return all the records that match the filter - this also give more control over screen layout as you can fix the portal length and no scripting required - just a "submit" button to update the global fields and make the portal return the results.

Thanks for that suggestion. I guess that if there is no other way, I will have to go with a portal but my early attempts at a design with a portal bring about problems in selecting a record (one of the portal rows) to jump to another layout of that record. Also, I'm not really clear about using search to fill the portal. I have had problems about the portal showing incorrect information (I think it's connected to table relationship). I guess I'll have to read up a lot more and experiment some although I'm a bit pushed for time.

Anyway, thanks again for the suggestion although I wish there was another way to simply get the next 50 records without using the status area as this would make it really easy for me to finish my project.
