Simulate a click in the layout to get rid of grid lines

Featured Replies

I have a container field which acts as button to fill itself with a picture. When I click on it again it removes the picture like a toggle. When I click on it - it puts up the hidden lines ( boundries of the field) The only way the user can get rid of the lines is by actually clicking on the layout outside any fields. Is there any way to do this by scripting?

If I understanding you correctly,

Go into Layout Mode, and right click on the field. Select [color:blue]Field Behavior and then Deselect the "Allow field entry in Browse Mode".

thanks lee I am including a file which shows what I mean. The grid from the other fields show up when I click on a box (a red square) in the blue box in my example. It only goes away ( the grid) when I click outside on the blank layout area. In my example I have a picture file under the grid and this disturbs the view always unless I click outside in the layout.
