Think of how easy and smart it would be to incorporate features in filemaker that would allow it to become a slideshow viewer. Simply changing from one layout to another with TRANSITIONS and background music. People would be able to use filemaker in a new and novel way. They would be able to make a slideshow anyway they wanted. Simply add the ability to transition objects and layouts one to another. Voila an instant solution. Music that is timed though a slideshow.

You can use Keynote and QuickTime with great success via FM container fields, records, layouts, script and script triggers.

I don't think that FM must be "for overall and for nothing" :

Adding the ability to add transitions is a harmless addition with great consequence for the insightful....
