Zcast Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 First things first, I can't even install it due to the HD resolution requirements. That will probably end up being a major issue with your file. 1280x1024? Best I can do is 1280x768 Really would like to see what this looks like though.
efen Posted November 26, 2009 Posted November 26, 2009 Agreed - can't install because of required screen resolution
Guest Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 medicine is ocean and patient is a blue whale and case sheet is a white shark and doc is a snail so for vast info i am designing in 1280 x 1024 res
efen Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 Well, I'm lost already in your vast ocean - seems a very poor reason for designing something that many people will not be able to access, either for assessing how well you have compiled your solution or for actually using it for its intended purpose.
Zcast Posted November 27, 2009 Posted November 27, 2009 At such a required high resolution, your program will die before it starts. I understand designing it at such a resolution, but you may not want to require users to have that resolution. After all, those who do have such a great graphics card can change their resolution to see your deign in all it's splendor and glory. Those who don't have such a graphics card should still be able to use your pogram at a lower resolution. You have already alienated pobably 80% of your target customers from even being able to test it, yet alone BUY it! Besides, how many of those "DELL" PC's in clinics have high resolution graphics cards? Some maybe.... Just some advice and after thoughts from someone who works in advertising and promotions. From a business stand-point, my firm wouldn't even touch your product in the way of promoting it. It's what we call "UN-promotable" due to such a poor requirement. Especially something that can VERY easily be solved by removing the high resolution requirement in your installer. NO, I repeat, NO design changes need to be made to the program itself! After all that being said, good luck with your solution.
