What's the best way to get this? Does the run time engine alone do it or so you have to resort to 3rd party plug-ins like SecureFM or internal scripts? I need to send out demos of my solutions as run times on CDs with assurance that they cannot be stolen. Copying I don't care much about. It's theft of the total design that I need protection for. There is a product that 'wraps' around your application called Soft Sentry 3 that requires no code changes: you can create custom install options based on dates, number of executions, etc. However, I don't know if its available on a Mac.
