I have a layout with five number fields. I would like to have appear in each field in a record of that layout a random number from 1 to 50, making certain that no field in the record has a repeat of a number from another field in that record. In other words, each record contains 5 unique numbers, anywhere from 1 to and including 50. Can anyone assist me with a formula that accomplishes this task?

Please excuse me. I am very new to Filemaker and am a bit confused by your suggestion. I downloaded the file you sent and pushed the Insert Values button but nothing happened to the fields. I did notice a change in the cursor's shape, however. Am I to add something to the script you created? Am I to insert something in the fields? Perhaps I should have waited longer for the loop in the script to work?

Did you delete the record ?

If yes, create a new record before pushing the button.
