LaurenKuhlman Posted December 16, 2009 Posted December 16, 2009 Essentially, IWP started going up and down a few weeks back. It started doing so more and more frequently early last week until finally (and this is when they called us) it wouldn’t come back up again. To bring it back up, they were just pushing the “green gears” button in FMS 9 Admin Console. At the point we started looking into it, the whole system locked up. FMApp access went down and then FMS Admin Console and fmsadmin utility became unresponsive. We did a complete re-install of FMS9. They weren’t even 24 hours and bam, its at it again. Came up for 1 1/2 hours this morning and crashed. Was up again for maybe 3 hours until just now. Crashed. Space on the c: drive is limited. Right now, we have 2.31 GB free on the C: The hosted databases and backups along with SuperContainer are stored on the D: which has more available space. Anti-virus is completely off at the moment. Windows Server 2003 FileMaker Server 9v3 with patch This is the error they are getting: Subject: FMServer ERROR wpe1 FileMaker Server 9.0.3.325 on WORKFLOW reported the f... IdealData Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 Have you considered a looming hardware failure? If the hard drive is on its last legs then you could possibly see erratic and worsening behaviour.
Steven H. Blackwell Posted December 17, 2009 Posted December 17, 2009 How much RAM on server? How much allocated to Server cache? I have seen this type issue before with memory as a culprit. Steven
