a field that contains a list

Featured Replies

I have a table called 'Products' and I have created a relationship with itself in conjunction with a portal and a drop down list that enables me to pick related products to that product

ie

the main product might be a mobile phone and I can just click on a new record(s) in the portal row and select any other product(s) that might relate to the phone (carry case, in-car charger ect)

I need to create regular csv files with my products on them for uploading to a new website.

What I require is a field that contains all the related 'item codes' (which is a field in my Products table), in my Products table.

any ideas? - i've tried a calc field and a List command using the related 'item code' field but no luck.

thanks

Well, that is the correct approach, but you're not explaining what results you are getting in your calc. field so it's difficult to know what's wrong.

Can you post the calculation?
