Container field not displaying in email body

Featured Replies

I have set up a script to create a pdf copy of the current record, and email to a specified recipient.

I added some comments as standard that will appear in the body of the email, such as:

Code:

Hi [recipients name::text field],

Please find attached a pdf for you.

"regards"

[senders name::text field]

"contact no :" [senders mobile no::text field]

[logo::container field]

However, all is well except for the logo field.

It is always displayed as logo.gif, instead of the image itself.

I tried setting the container field to global and not, with the same result.

Is there a way to have the logo displayed as it should in the email body?

The built-in FM mail only sends plain email. For graphics or html, you'll need a plugin.

Ok, thanks

Will not go down that path for now, but will remain with text only.

Maybe fmp 11 will have that feature enabled.
