Printing a grouped report

Featured Replies

A script generates a grouped report showing client names and invoices. In preview mode the clients name is at the top and the invoices are shown in order underneath. This is fine.

If I print current record the page comes out with the client name and only one invoice underneath.

If I print records being browsed it prints all the records correctly with the client name at the top and invoices underneath.

Why cannot i print one record?

Why cannot i print one record?

You can, and you are: one record is one invoice (assuming your layout is based on the invoices table).

Got it, but how can I print one page with the invoices underneath as shown in preview mode?

Thanks

I am afraid I don't understand the problem: is there a difference between what you see in preview and in print?

In general, you should find the records you want to be printed, then print browsed records.
