ianmuir Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 A script generates a grouped report showing client names and invoices. In preview mode the clients name is at the top and the invoices are shown in order underneath. This is fine. If I print current record the page comes out with the client name and only one invoice underneath. If I print records being browsed it prints all the records correctly with the client name at the top and invoices underneath. Why cannot i print one record?
comment Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 (edited) Why cannot i print one record? You can, and you are: one record is one invoice (assuming your layout is based on the invoices table). Edited January 20, 2010 by Guest
ianmuir Posted January 20, 2010 Author Posted January 20, 2010 Got it, but how can I print one page with the invoices underneath as shown in preview mode? Thanks
comment Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I am afraid I don't understand the problem: is there a difference between what you see in preview and in print? In general, you should find the records you want to be printed, then print browsed records.
