Extract Text from a field

Featured Replies

Hi Guys

I Have some text sotored in a normal text field with lets say the following data within it:

There will be a reception in the Library at 10.00am, and from there we will move to the School of Arts for the opening. This will be celebrated in the building itself, after which you will have an opportunity to see pupils at work within the new workshops. Lunch will be served in the Dining hall.

---End Of Page 1---

another bit worth of Text come in adasdssadsad

asdsasad

as asdasd

asdsadas

asdsaadsd

---End Of Page 2---

another page worth of Text come in adasdssadsad

asdsasad

asdsa

as asdasd

asdsadas

asdsaadsd

---End of Page 3---

Is it possible to extract each bit of text in a seperate field? So for instance I am envisaging creating 3 text calculation fields and I would in the first field like to extract all the data up the ---End Of Page 1--- tag, in my second field I would like to extract the text that is sandwiched between the ---End Of Page 1--- tag and ---End Of Page 2--- and in my third field I would like to extract the data from ---End Of Page 2--- and ---End Of Page 3--- tag.

Anyone know of a way to remove "chunks of text" between certain tags.

Hope that makes sense.

Many Thanks for advice

See if this helps:
