January 26, 201015 yr This one is like beating a dead horse and has been around since the introduction of unicode in FM. In the past most of us facing this challenge have resorted to pop up windows in text editors to cut and paste text into fields, (FM will accept all Thai characters this way, but not some characters thru direct keyboard input). I'm writing this as this an unacceptable cobble we have used for quite some time, and we almost lost us a major new client who was asking the proper question as to why are you using a software package that is not compatible with the Thai language....A very good question. So if anyone else is facing this same cobble to an otherwise quality DB software package chime in. If FM truly listens to these forums they will hopefully acknowledge this major problem for us. I hope that anyone googling will come across this post, as I can say if you are just starting with regards to using a DB system in Thailand, FM is not for you. Go elsewhere!
