The problem is that the Developer Kit puts all the files in one folder. I'd like to be able to move the application file out of the folder, or conversely, create a new "files" folder and put all the other files inside that. When I do that, however, when I open the application it asks for the main file -- every time.

Any ideas?

Just create a shortcut or alias to the application file and stick it where every you would like. This keeps the app and files together, but the user has an icon whereever they want.
