I believe you can solve this in two ways:

1. Export your original data to a text file. Use a third-party utility to convert the resulting file's encoding to Unicode, then import the result to a new/converted FMP file.

2. Create a new file in version 6, with a record for each character in the alphabet. Convert the fie and use the result to construct a Substitute() formula.

fx.php may be an ansewer for you. it allows the use/passing of utf-8 data in in various fields if i remember correctly.

The problem is more complicated, you will get the same result with fields, scripts and value lists that you created with Greek characters, not just the text in your fields.

So all your layouts will be "unreadable" after converting to .fp7 format.

Contact us at avalanchesoft.gr, we have a lot of experience with this and all the other problems you will face after converting.
