February 12, 201015 yr My business partner was testing a runtime version of an application I am developing. One of the scripts sends an Excel file via SMTP and then stores a copy of the file locally. I make sure that Filemaker runtimes get installed in a specifically named folder at the C: level on machines that it is to run on. The application works fine under Windows 7 and under Windows XP. My partner's machine is running Windows Vista 64 bit. When he tries to run the script that sends and stores the Excel file, it sends the file properly using SMTP but the local storage attempt yields an error dialog that says ""TCSoutput.xls" could not be created on this disk. Use a different name, make more room on the disk, unlock it or use a different disk". I can't duplicate this error anyplace else - has anyone run into this issue? Thanks in advance.. --Peter Brooks Edited February 12, 201015 yr by Guest
February 12, 201015 yr How exactly does this send and store technique work? imho, it's either a path issue or a permissions issue.
February 28, 201015 yr Author turned out to be a path issue that I was able to fix. Thanks for the reply
