My document's Layout Mode off.I don't open layout mode and layout.What should I do to turn this? I want to change document but I don't. How do i change document? View>Layout Mode -> I can not click it because it is lock . How do i open it ? Layout and Layout Mode lock . Looks soft . have password but i believe password. password to enter. it is saved file . Please Look,

You are opening the file with a password that does not allow full access. You need to find out what the password is.

But How do we find password ?

Ask the original author of the solution.

He is leaving to work.

That is your only source. Someone needs to obtain if from him. If the file belongs to you, or your organization, it is not his to keep. If he owns the rights, then you may have a problem with getting it.

FileMaker used to have a service for versions prior to 7, for $100 and proof of ownership, they would crack the file. There use to be some "Cracker Software" out there that you could purchase, I haven't seen them mentioned in the last couple of years, but you might do a search for them on Google, or something.

Yes, you have a password, but not the right password. The problem is your password is not a "Full Access" password.

But How I Find it?

1) contact the developer and get the full access password

2) use a password cracking utility to force-open the file (note that this may damage the file)

3) re-create the file from scratch
