My current solution is in FM Pro10A I now need FM Pro 10 licenses for our work stations. I've seen some software sites sell an academic version at a savings. Will I have problems if i buy these versions? Their sites no.

AFAIK, there is no difference in the products. However, you have to qualify for the Educational Price. I would start by contacting sales at FileMaker Inc and they can explain all of this to you.

if you have VOLUME license needs and qualify for volume purchase discounts I would recommend that as you can also get annual maintenance - so that when the next version is released you'd automatically get that. Contact FileMakers sales to find out qualifications for educational pricing with volume license.

Were not the software police but using "educational" license in a business setting is outside the terms of the EULA.

Contacted FM and got a 5 license package with 1 year support. Thanks for all the info.
