Hello,

I'm wondering if there is a way to have a custom icon/logo for runtime solutions. The FMPro folder icon is nice but, if I could, I'd use my own. Have looked in Developer 5 and Windows but haven't seen an option for this.

Any ideas?

Bill

You can replace the EXE icon, but not the others (as far as I've been able to tell). I use a program called 'Resource Hacker'. It's a very simple

procedure: Open the EXE, expand the Icons folder, and replace the first entry. Remember that .ICO files contain multiple icons, which Windows selects based on the screen resolution.

Hi Steve,

And thanks for replying. When you say "open the EXE" do you mean DeveloperExe or my runtime.exe. In either case, opening seems to start the program rather than giving access to files.

Thanks,

Bill

You need to open the EXE program using Resource Hacker or similar program...clicking on it will only cause it to execute as you've already found out. You can download RH (its freeware) from http://rpi.net.au/~ajohnson/resourcehacker/
