Travis Butler Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Trying to figure if there's a simple way to get the first and last records on a page when Filemaker is in Preview mode; idea is to put that info in the page header for quick-scanning purposes. It's pretty easy to do for a subsummary part, by using summary fields for Min and Max, but I can't figure out how to extend it to the entire page. Any suggestions? Many thanks!
Vaughan Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 The header always displays the data from the first record on the page, and the footer the last record on the page...
Travis Butler Posted March 26, 2010 Author Posted March 26, 2010 Yes, but I was hoping to put both of them together in one spot, like a dictionary page; "This page contains records through ", for example.
comment Posted March 27, 2010 Posted March 27, 2010 If the number of records per page is constant, this can be very simple. If not, it gets very complicated.
