I think it could be useful to add a "Filemaker the software" forum. We could ask question such as "Why are, sometime, the shortcut keys not working in the relationship diagram?! This is very annoying!".

That is what the General Topics are for.

I guess you're talking about the "Filemaker Product Family".

Yes, and it is currently located at the top of the Forum for convenience.

The General Topic for the new releases are initially placed at the top of the page until the newness wears out. Admin will probably move it to Product topic area in the near future, while at the same time moving the questions that belong in specific topic areas to their appropriate location.

BTW, your example question fits into other topic areas, such as relationships, and script steps.

The example question is not really related to the file structure, but more with Filemaker itself. Which I think would not mix well with file related forums.
