Creating Relationship between customer and customer quote and how to assign quote to customer

I'm having trouble creating a relationship between 2 tables.

1 table is my customers table, and the other table is my quote table. 1 Customer can have multiple quotes.

My problems are the following.

I don't know what i need to create and what i need to join between the 2 tables and also. I don't know how i would assign multiple quote #'s to 1 customer (portal maybe).

can anybody help.
