El_Pablo Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 Hi, We are looking at SC to check if it fits our needs. We would like to know if it's possible to send the files to an external server? We have actually a VPS running FMS8 (Which will be updated to FMS11.) and a website hosted somewhere else. Is it possible to run SC from the VPS and send the files in a directory on our web host? Thank you PS It might take times before I answer back since I'll be in vacation next week.
Valentin Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 if the destination is a SMB share then you can use a UNC path: servershare
El_Pablo Posted May 10, 2010 Author Posted May 10, 2010 Hi, Sorry for the delay (I was on vacation), the only way to access the destination server is by FTP. Is it possible to send the images via FTP? Thanks
Smef Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 SuperContainer does not allow for files to be stored over FTP, though we may be able to customize it to do this for you. Another option is to use our FTP Plugin to transfer the files over FTP. The best solution for you would probably be to deploy SuperContainer on the machine where you want the files to be stored, if that is possible to do.
