I'm resizing and exporting 10000 images to 120px height

99% work but a few come out at 119px height...

most are jpgs at about 500x500

any ideas??

using SCDownload( PHOTOS::resource ; Get ( DesktopPath ) &"public_html/artworkimages/thumbs/"; 0; 120;"filename="& PHOTOS::id& ".jpg")

I am not able to reproduce this issue. Are you using the latest version of both SuperContainer Server and the SuperContainer Companion plugin? Please make sure that both of those are version 2.746. You can download the latest version of SuperContainer from http://360works.com/supercontainer/

latest sc server (standalone) latest plugin

running on newish imac, 10.5.8, filemaker 11

this is urgent now as their website is ready to go - only issue is about 10% of images are not the exact 120px height...

(attached is an example file that when resized to 120px height always comes out as 119px - even on a clean install on a new machine with latest versions...)

I've been able to reproduce this issue using this test image. We are now investigating the cause of this.

Our main person who will be working on this issue has been out of town, and will be getting back in tomorrow. I'll let you know what the status is once he's been able to look at it.

Sorry about the confusion with editing this post. It looks like someone modified my testing script. I'm looking into this now.

Hi

I've confirmed that it's the latest version 2.748

standalone server and plugin

just did some testing:

With the sample image attached earlier, if I import it into the database SCDownload works as expected 120px height

If I try with the original image (one that hasn't been exported then reimported) it's still 119px

I've tried clearing cache, restarting everything.

All I can think is, is there a 119px image stored somewhere to stop it remaking the new 120px version??

Ok - RESOLVED!!!

I had to delete the entire thumbnails folder - I think SCDownload was reusing the old x120 thumbnail...

Thanks - I'll have a happy client today
