I don't know if this belongs here, but there's sth I wanted to know your opinion about.

Don't you think a feature similar to HTML frames would be useful - dividing the screen in vertical spaces as well as horizontal ones (we already have those)?

For example you'd have the ability to have a left hand portal and in the middle a list view.

Now it also comes to my mind that those layout-parts would be nice if they were based upon different tables.

Am I asking too much/impossible/unnecessary programming burden from our friends at FM?

By the way, doing that using portals I suppose is a nice workaround but in a GUI with many features it would produce a lot of programming load (for sortings,filters etc), wouldn't it?
