FM11 Script windows (Windows OS)

Featured Replies

Script windows seemed to have been hobbled. What is the logic of having them stuck on top while I can still operate on windows below? There seems to be a mix of OS X pane behaviour with old style FM behaviour. Why, oh why can the developers not make a version of FM that works like it is Windows native? We are, after all, told that 80% of sales are on this platform.

I wonder what the primary platform of the developers is?

An added annoyance it that the script windows no longer show in the 'Windows' menu. Almost useless.

What are you talking about?

I see script windows in the Windows menu. My script windows are fully switchable/navigable etc. and not stuck on top.

The only place where it’s forced on top is when you call it from the Button Setup dialog, which you couldn’t even do prior to 11.

Is that where you’re invoking this? Yes, within that context, the Edit Script window is forced to the top, but no existing functionality was harmed in the creation of this feature.

That is all a relief to hear. It seems there is something wrong with the FM11 I have installed as I just checked by opening a script window and it did not show in the Windows menu. I wonder what could be wrong? Is it that I am using Windows XP and should not be?
