I have a data base (genealogy name, date, father, mother comments) that I would like to link individual entries to a photo, but I do not want the photo in the data base.

I have tried to click on a particular field (comments) but when I look at insert, none of the options are available, have tried this in several view. I am new to this and would appreciate any help

Are you trying to use SuperContainer with your databse? You will need to download and deploy a SuperContainer Server from http://360works.com/supercontainer. You will connect to SuperContainer through a web viewer. Use a calculation for your web viewer URL which uses your record ID in your URL to give you a different storage location for each record in your database.

I would recommend looking through the example file and the documentation which comes with your download of SuperContainer.
