Stop mouse scroll record change?

When viewing a layout, the mouse wheel will cycle through records when scrolled...

I have a record details layout that pops up to show the details of a record listed in list view.

That all works great - but when a user clicks the details button off the list, he gets that record - but if they scroll the mouse wheel, the records cycle up or down.

Can this be turned off somehow?

With a little thought I guess I could do something like a self relationship and GTRR and only get those relations... but that makes a much more convoluded scheme to just turn off the mouse wheel.

any ideas?
