List view moves from side to side when swiping.

Form view does not... it only moves up/down. Form view seems more 'stable' on the screen

Is there a reason for this behavior difference? Can it be controlled?

Try locking zoom level.

Thanks for the suggestion, but it didn't fix the problem.

But it helped me work out that my background graphics were a pixel-or-2 too wide. I narrowed them and the list is now horizontally stable when swiping.

It's now fixed.
