Is there a way to calculate the number of records on the last page in preview mode.

Not really.

All I can think of is to get the record found count and last page number, then change to browse mode, omit the last record, preview and check the page number again. Iterate until the page number decreases.

This can be done with conditional formatting calcs. No example at the moment.
