Glorifindal Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 Hi there, not sure where I should post this question - but here goes: When accessing a hosted version of the DB - does Filemaker write or store ANY data to the local disk ? I am thinking specifically about temp files etc. Any help greatly appreciated. Glorifindal
Glorifindal Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 Corporate IT send out a 4 page questionaire concerning the new corporate build which will include Filemaker - It's one of the questions - I am no Windows expert - so no idea why they need to know -0 BUT, If I do not answer it - no progress.
Steven H. Blackwell Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 When accessing a hosted version of the DB - does Filemaker write or store ANY data to the local disk ? Yes it does. You should try to have at least 1 GB free space on your drive to facilitate this. The TEMP file is cleaned away on exit. Steven
