Annette Marie Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 Can anyone tell me how I change the fill color of a button to have two colors? Like the area behind the navigation button in the invoices template, it goes from grey at the top to black. I can't figure out how to do that using different colors. I'm assuming it's a button that was used because when I right click on it in edit is says button setup
Lee Smith Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 (edited) I'm assuming it's a button that was used because when I right click on it in edit is says button setup I'm not quite sure which part of the navigation area you are referring to, as just about anything on a layout can be made a button. So, if its the Black section behind the buttons, and all you want to do is to change its color, just click on it, and select a different fill color. If on the other hand, you are wanting to have the buttons change color to show different states (i,.e. on | off for example) then there is more to it than just using a different fill color. BTW, be careful in using the templates, if they work for you as-is out of the box great. However, if you need to make a lot of changes to them in order to meet your needs, you would probably be better off starting from scratch. Lee Edited August 16, 2010 by Guest
Annette Marie Posted August 16, 2010 Author Posted August 16, 2010 If you are looking at the invoice template....at the very top of the page it has a small bar that is two-toned....grey to black. I would like to do that but in different colors on my database. It's not the background color of the section...you can actually click it and move it around if you went into edit mode.
Lee Smith Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 That is a imported graphic, and you would have to replace it by creating a new one.
