how to communicate with external data when ODBC is not available

Featured Replies

Here is my problem. I would like some of my filemaker files to figure on a site I administrate. I know that normally I would do this by establishing MySQL databases on the site and then have them communicate with the appropriate FM files on my FM server via ODBC. The only problem is that my provider does not allow ODBC communications. I found a suggestion of using a SSH tunnel, but my provider does not allow SSH either. Does anyone know of a workaround for this type of situation?

Get a new provider!

That's what I thought. Thanks for the confirmation
