Filemaker Pro v4.1 (this is an upgrade from v4.0) has ODBC capabilities, limited to accessing external ODBC sources.

There are a couple of plug-ins for FMP 4.0 which will allow you to connect to ODBC data sources. Check Filemaker's website for a listing of the various plug-ins.

Filemaker Pro v5.x has ODBC capabilities for both access external sources as well as acting as an ODBC source.
