seeing a list of the last 15 entries?

I have a small cross-country running database that enters a runner's number and then displays the time taken for the run. Currently I can only see the last entry made and I would like to see a list of the last 15 or so entries made. I know it has something to do with relationships..... can anyone help please?

Hi frensham, welcome to FM Forums!

How is your table structured now? Do you have a Runners table (name and ID of each runner) and a TimePoint table where each runner's time is taken at certain points (which is all runners with fields such as timestamp and runnerID? You need each runner's start time and (at minimum) their end time to get their overall time.

Once we know how you are structured (it would be best to provide a file), then we can assist with how to relate your data and display it, using a portal.

You say you want 'a list of the last 15 or so entries' but do you mean a list of the last 15 for all runners or do you mean for one runner? :smile2:
