Is there a way to conditional format and Field so a user can not enter information.

I have a checkbox=1 I would like the corresponding date field to be able to be accessed otherwise no access.

Can this be done by conditional format?

Will this work if there are other fields on the layout that the use needs to enter regardless of this field...

Meaning the inputer might want to just around the fields and enter data in there order... if they click this script -- will they be able to access the other fields?
