No file info

Featured Replies

When I load the page on IWP with a list of records and documents in the SuperContainer, the first time file info will show. The second time that I call the same list, the info does not show!

On windows it looks ok, but on Mac OS 10.6.4 with Java 10.6 update 3 there is no info.

The SuperContainer version is 2.76

What do you mean by "the info does not show?" Are you talking about fields on your layout? A plugin calculation using SCGetInfo? Information about the file in the web viewer?

I mean the information about the file in the webviewer.

I have found a similar problem on my system. I believe it started after the latest Java upgrade on OS X 10.6 (JRE 1.6.0_22).

The first time I show a file in a webviewer in my FileMaker solution, the normal information appears (file name, date uploaded, file size) next to the file icon.

If I close the window and re-open it, the webviewer only shows me the file icon. If I hide the window, the file info still appears. If I quit from FileMaker, the file info reappears.

The SC server machine is running JRE 1.5.0_19 and Tomcat 6.0.18 under OS X 10.4.11. Clients are running OS X 10.6.4 and FileMaker 10 and 11.

Am I running afoul of version differences here?

Best Regards,

John Haffner

I am also seeing this issue on my Mac where the file info like file name, size, and upload date is not being displayed. It seems to occur whenever I change layouts, switch between form, list, and table view, and when I go in and out of layout mode. I also noticed that if I open a second window right after I open the file, navigate to the layout with the supercontainer webviewer, and then hide that second window, navigating between layouts or views no longer causes the file info to "disappear" in the first (non-hidden) window. However, entering layout mode still seems to cause the issue.

Is there any way to fix this?

I am running supercontainer as a standalone application. Mac OS X 10.6.6 with Java 1.6.0_22.

Thanks for your help.

This issue has been resolved with SuperContainer 2.78. You can download the latest version from http://360works.com/SuperContainer/.
