Ron Cates Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) I run a small office network with filemaker server 10 on server 2008 5 Windows Xp Clients FMP 10 1 Mac Client FMP 10 Everything displays perfectly fine on the Mac client and on 4 of the XP clients. But on one of the xp clients the display is being distorted. I have tried adjusting the refresh rate but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this and how to fix it? Edited November 3, 2010 by Guest
bcooney Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Sorry, Ron, doesn't ring at bell. Have you confirmed the versions are identical (win sp3, and fm10 version)?
Vaughan Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 Stuff like this is usually solved by adjusting the display hardware acceleration down a couple of notches or disabling it completely. Try updating the display card driver software.
Ron Cates Posted November 4, 2010 Author Posted November 4, 2010 I have convirmed all versions are the same. The computer has been reformatted twice and it comes up the same way each time. I guess I will play around with it and see what I can do.
Vaughan Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 Have you checked that the hardware is the same? It may have a different graphics card.
