the time should be imported from the field “date”

I need a few data from an Oracle data bank which can be traced by ODBC. Not only the date, but also the time should be imported from the field “date”. But if I try to import the field “date” into filemaker, the new table only contains the date. In Access the import works without any problems. Do you have any idea how to get rid of this problem?

Are you using a "date" field or a "timestamp" field. Sounds like you need a timestamp.

Thanks for your answer...

I try to import the data, which are traced by ODBC, into filemaker. It should be a “timestamp” field, but after the import filemaker interprets just a “date” field. I tried the following :( to import in a “numeric” field, a “timestamp” field and a “time” field. Anyway, at the end there’s only the “date” shown without the time.

Are you sure it's a timestamp in Oracle?

This might help:
