Can anyone tell me how I would pass a script parameter between 2 databases please? Or if there is an easier way?

There is no difference in passing a script parameter to scripts in the same file or different files. If one script (or button) calls another script, the technique for passing the parameter does not change when multiple files are involved. So the question seems to be, what can you tell us about how you are using script parameters and how well you understand them?
