Position Of Dialog Boxes

Hello,

I have written a lot of scripts in filemaker that use the Show Custom Dialog option. Is there a way to change the position of these dialog boxes? instead of them popping up in the middle I want them to appear on the left. Or is there a way to make that a default setting for ALL dialog boxes? Thanks for your help.

You can't control the position of dialog boxes. They open at their last position/size (on Windows at least).

Learn to use the Search for the FMForums.

There has been several Threads about the Position of the Custom Dialog Box in the past.

Start by clicking on the wheel just right of the Search (Quick Find) at the top. A new dialog box will open aka the "Advance Search" window. This window will provide you with the filters needed to narrow your search even further.

Put in your Keywords. I.E. +Custom +Dialog +Box (use the pluses as shown)

Select "Match All Words"

"Search in Section" "Forum"

use the default of Topic Title and Posts

Search Now

Results = 340 Hits

By adding +position (+Custom +Dialog +Box +Position)

Results = 8 hits.
