Search in Script "body" (not just title)

Featured Replies

Is there a way to search across scripts for specific strings, subroutines, tables or fields?

I am in the script window but all I can seem to do is "find" a string in the script title.

Hi,

If you have FMP Advanced, you can create a Database Design Report which is searchable. Your info simply says "9".

you could also print the script to a pdf, then search the pdf.

Alas I do not have fmp Advanced. I don't really get why they don't just make all the versions advanced so I'm stuck with the version we have which is the basic (we're still all on 9). Oh well.

You can upgrade to 11 from 9 at a reduce price.

The difference between the Standard and the Advance version is the special tools that you get for developing solutions. If you are planning to do any developing of old and or new solutions, I highly recommend your paying the extra money (difference between 11 standard and 11 Advance upgrade)
