Hiding Borders

Is there anyway to completely remove all borders (the status, red/yellow/green dots)? I want to make a layout with nothing except a pictures... sort of like the splash screen you see at the beginning of Filemaker. Can you do this?

You can hide the status area. You cannot remove the window frame.
