Adding labels to pie charts

Featured Replies

This is my first effort with native charting in filemaker so forgive my dumbosity.

Is there a way to affix a label to pie chart to describe what a particular section of the pie chart represents?

I have a database that counts items that my cabinetshop produces. For example:

Cabinet A has 3 drawers and 1 door.

Cabinet B has 2 doors.

I am trying to get a pie chart to show me the relative importance of door quantity vs drawer quantity.

The pie chart shows up fine but nobody can tell what each wedge of the pie represents,

How do I associate labels with pie sections?

If I understand this correctly, you should enter a calculation into 'Label Data' =

"Drawers¶Doors"
