xtrim Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 Hi, When a user enter as guest (with data entering priv') all of the custom menu items that refer to a script are grayed out. All of these scripts are with "run script with full priv..." What can be the problem?
David Jondreau Posted February 20, 2011 Posted February 20, 2011 By default, the [Guest] account is [Read-Only]. There's several reasons why this is happening. I'd start by checking Privilege Set that the 'user' Account is set to. The Scripts drop-down should not be set to "no access". The "Run script will full access privileges..." setting has not influence on whether the user has access to a script, just what happens when the script is run.
xtrim Posted February 21, 2011 Author Posted February 21, 2011 Hi, The privilege Set that the 'user' Account is set is "execute only". nshould be fine...no? I'll try with a regular user. I preferred guest so there wont be any login questions in the runtime solution. for some reason, even though I set a default login and password to a file, in a runtime solution it still popup the login dialog.
David Jondreau Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 What does the "Available menu options" drop down menu say (in the same Security window)?
xtrim Posted February 22, 2011 Author Posted February 22, 2011 well - it works only when "all" is selected....
