FM6 and MS Office for Mac Trouble

We are having an issue with FM 6 and Office for MAC.

Details:

OSX 10.6.6

FM6.0 v1

When we are running FM alone everything is fine. As soon as we open MS office, either Word or Excel, Filemaker starts running really slow in accessing the database and become unusable.

Any thoughts??

BTW we are using Office 11 for Mac

Obviously those versions plus the OS are so far apart in age that I would be surprised if they worked well. The only thing you can try is to update your FM6v1 to FM6v4 which was I believe the last update to that FM6 product.
