Hi, I've just got FM11 and eagerly started to use the SendMail script step with the SMTP option. It seems to work great - I can set the sender, and there's less desktop interruption when a long script is running. I'm hoping that the fact there's less email hops would help as well.

But I'm wondering after inspecting one of these emails (I'm no email expert) whether the headers could cause any problems with email being rejected.

Like you I had really looked forward to the use of this major facility only to find it is crippled as less than 40% of mails go properly. How on earth can a feature of this magnitude be left broken for so long. I think it must surely add up to false advertising. I wonder if any of the third party plugins (SMTPit springs to mind) remedy the situation.
