El_Pablo Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Hello, We are looking to buy a server with Windows 2008 R2 + Hyper-V. I would like to know if someone has already virtualized Filemaker Pro with App-V? As our employees work from home, would it be faster for them to run FM as if they were on the LAN with the server? Is there any good alternative to App-V? Thanks
Wim Decorte Posted April 30, 2011 Posted April 30, 2011 I haven't come across an App-V deployment yet. Better check with your local FM sales engineer to see what they have to say. The standard alternative is Citrix or Terminal Services, both of which are officially supported.
